Created by design studio Seymour Powell, this mobile phone concept uses full color flexible e-paper currently in development by Liquavista, the display innovation company based in UK, Holland and Hong Kong. The concept phone will be able to display information in color without the need to flip it open, thanks to Liquavista’s display platform, which was developed using electrowetting technology. The technology is still under study, but we can hope to spot this e-paper mobile phone at CES next month. Electronic paper displays, without a doubt, promises to be the future of mobile phone displays.
